Whether or not you give a damn about hand-inlaid wood graphics doesn’t matter—the Bomb Squad’s performance won me over in one run. When I was expecting a heavy slog through afternoon chunder with beat quads, I got light, smooth turns of any size and brainless initiation. When it was deep, the long, wide, damp tip kept me up and charging without moving a muscle. When it was groomed, they held like a GS ski, bouncing back and forth thanks to a super lightweight wood and carbon fiber construction and ample sidecut. The Bomb Squad will get you skiing faster and better more easily than any big-mountain board.
