Round 1 – Powder Selection, Pick 3Easy to ski in nearly any condition, especially powder, the S7 helped pave the way for the rocker-with-camber revolution. The S7 is so effective in all conditions due to its Amptec technology (camber underfoot, rocker in the tip and tail) and its tapered tip and tail design. And while this design and shape is being used across the industry, the S7 seems to have nailed it. The Super 7 is essentially the same ski as the S7, except two millimeters wider underfoot and an added layer of metal for increased stiffness. The addition made it stronger and more aggressive—basically more badass. Taking laps through Jackson’s O.B. on this ski had me slashing windlips, effortlessly floating powder turns, and surfing through the trees at high speeds. Heaven, simply heaven.
