Skier's Choice Draft Picks
Tess Weaver
Round 1 – Powder Selection, Pick 11
This is the ski I recommend to every woman who has yet to embrace rocker. From the ex-racer who’s dabbling in the sidecountry but wants to carve the bottom of the groomer, to the park girl who’s ready for some float when it dumps, the S7 is the most versatile rockered ski on the market. We used to knock women’s skis that were simply a guy’s ski with a girly topsheet, but when the guy’s ski is the Rossi S7, everyone wins. The S7 has won a huge fan base with its reasonable dimensions, tapered spoon tip, high rocker tail, underfoot camber, centered sidecut, wood core and traditional sidewalls. Jargon aside, it’s been my only powder ski for three consecutive seasons, and continues to win me over every single time.Other Draft Picks By Tess Weaver
Additional Information
| Description | The S7 W delivers more maneuverability and forgiveness than any other women’s powder ski on the market. PowderTurn Rocker combines low camber underfoot with high tip and pintail rocker providing effortless flotation, steering and speed control. The Centered Sidecut provides a tightened turn radius and confident edging performance for variable terrain and conditions. Hard-charging experts and once-struggling intermediate women agree the S7 W has a jaw-dropping ability to make powder skiing easier, less fatiguing and more fun. |
