Park skiing is my first love. Well, that and my old football coach’s daughter, but that’s another story. First and foremost, a park ski needs to be a good ski. Chattering on a groomer just isn’t going to cut it. No one likes a floppy noodle. Stable and fun, the Pure is ready to tackle almost anything that a wild-eyed park builder puts in front of it. It’s light for tapping the tree bonks in Jackson’s Stash Parks and grabbing opposite mute on a casual switch 540. And with a 90mm waist, it’s more capable of catching a tranny than Hugh Grant on Sunset Blvd.
