Skier's Choice Draft Picks
Round 1 – Powder Selection, Pick 8If you want to ski powder-laden big mountain faces really, really fast with the ability to shut it down on a dime whenever needed, get this ski. Compared to its predecessor, designed by Shane McConkey himself, the ride of the newly redesigned Pon2oon is slightly less unorthodox. The tip has narrowed (less resistance) and the tail beefed up (more width, less rocker), giving the ski effortless turn initiation and additional braking power. Overall, the Pon2oon has a more balanced, controlled feel. Furthermore, a percentage of each Pon2oon sold will be donated to Shane’s family. With that in mind, in addition to the improvements, having the Pon2oon underfoot on a deep pow day should be on your bucket list.
