Round 3 – Park Selection, Pick 6
I like to jump cliffs and land in soft snow, so the park is the furthest thing from my comfort zone. But for the first time in my illustrious career, I was able to slide a rail and fly out of the pipe without getting hurt during Powder Week. These skis love to maneuver. They are somewhat turny but actually pretty stable for a park ski. We were skiing the blue runs on Aprés Vous and Casper lifts, so we had some fun in the bumps and whatever airs we could find. The Pipe Cleaner has a full wood core and traditional camber. The nose is softer than the tail, which makes it ideal for freestyle, so the take-offs are smooth and you won’t wash out on landings.Other Draft Picks By Benny Wilson
