Round 1 – Powder Selection
The RMU Professor is nice and floaty with its 120mm waist. The ski has varying flex patterns throughout its length. If you flex the whole ski it feels very soft, but that is an illusion created by the springy tip and tail. It is actually very stiff under foot, which enables it to charge. I also appreciate the minimal sidecut because it doesn’t feel grabby when you’re waist deep, unlike skis that have too many, or too pronounced of a contact point.
