Round 4 – Dream Trip
If I’m ever lucky enough to go to Japan, I’m bringing the Nordica Parton. When I first got on the Patron, the only thing I kept thinking was how the hell this thing was 113mm underfoot. It was so easy to turn with Nordica’s high-rise rocker technology. It’s rockered in the tip and tail but has traditional camber underfoot, making it the perfect ski to go anywhere. It’s got plenty width to float in the powder but will still make quick turns when you need it to. In terrain that’s unfamiliar to me, a super versatile ski sounds like just the ticket.
