Round 4 – Dream Trip, Do it all over again as a ski patroller, Pick 4
My dream trip is more of a dream job. Being the editor of Powder is the best gig going, but if I had it to do over, I’ve always been intrigued with ski patrolling (forget for a minute that I’m afraid of heights and don’t like to get up early). I wanted the Bodacious because it’s a wide ski that’s easy to turn, has rocker in the tip and a flat tail, a requisite for most of my patrol friends. The EHP is a good substitute. It handles all conditions well, including hardpack. It’s a playful ski, and fast with a stiff tail that acts like a springboard on traverses or when I want to ollie over obstacles.
