Then came the Greg Hill-inspired Stoke at 108mm underfoot, and now comes the “land Fish,” a paulownia-cored flotilla that finally puts Dynafit’s skis more in line with what Western backcountry skiers want. With the right amount of tip rocker, plus skin attachments for the tip and tail, the lightweight Huascaran cruises easily up the skin track and floats on the way down. No Spandex required.
