Armada Magic J

Skiing the Armada Magic J during this year’s Powder Week was most definitely one of my highlights. This ski will rip the steepest and deepest pow lines any resort has to offer, but also has the power to mach through variable snow and chunder during those high and dry times. The Magic J, derived from the JJ, has a stiffer core, wider platform, and less sidecut allowing the hard-charging skier to lay ’em over in any condition. The Magic J’s construction with Armada’s EST Freeride Rocker both in the tip and tail and camber underfoot allow for great flotation on deep days, while still having the ability to edge on hardpack. This is a must-have pow ski for those aggressive, powder junkies out there looking to slay the steep and deep.- Tyler MacPhie
