Marker Jester

A wide platform with a toe-piece that wraps around the majority of the boot, the Jester provides great energy transfer to the ski while maintaining bomber retention. Along with several of Marker’s bindings, the screw pattern and platform are 28 percent wider than last season’s crop, allowing for great torsional stability and power transfer. Magnesium makes its debut on the toe wings and the heel piece. While the Jaded local might swear by metal bindings, the majority of skiers don’t need that heft and strength, and should feel more than satisfied with the Jester’s plastic body. - Ryan Dunfee
