Description
My first concerns when looking for a touring boot are: Dynafit compatibility and a Vibram or rubber sole. This boot has both. It also hap- pens to be the lightest four-buckle, 120-flex boot on the market, and I’ll take the weight savings wherever I can. The Axial tongue system opens to the side for easier removal and accommodates my high instep. The Black Diamond Shiva, with its wider toe-box, fits my foot better, whereas the Gea fits narrower feet. It also comes with Intuitions, which I love, while B.D. has its own moldable liner and the Boa lace-up, which I could do without. - A.J. Cargill
