Being an avid skier in Montana entails habitual smoking of rocks, no matter what kind of preventative measures that are taken. This realization has led me to develop an appreciation for products that hold up to this kind of abuse just as well as they perform, and intolerance for dealing with warranty departments when I should be skiing instead. The Jeffrey’s 2.5mm x 2.5mm edges, thick Durasurf bases, and Ultra High Molecular Weight sidewalls allow them to stay on the snow and out of rehab. Their bamboo cores are laced with carbon stringers, which enhance the ski’s playful shape with a stable, poppy flex pattern. The ski’s 110 mm waist and elliptical rocker profile provide plenty of flotation in soft snow, while traditional camber underfoot, slightly tapered tips, and jibby mounting point allow the ski to perform intuitively in a wide range of conditions. - -Alex Buecking
