Skier's Choice Draft Picks

Round 5 – Boot Selection, AT/Sidecountry/Telemark, Pick 12
I had quite a bit of experience on the Quest 12, which debuted in 2009-10, and finally got to try the new Quest 14 this year. It is a giant step forward with its stiffer hiking sole and walk/tour mode, which I can now transfer from the lifts to the backcountry with the flick of the switch. The 12 was a little soft, and the extra stiffness with the 14 gives us beefier gentlemen a really versatile boot.Other Draft Picks By Benny Wilson
