When my Fischer buddy Vinnie Principe told me he’d have something new from Fischer next year, I was thinking skis. Then he showed me this boot shell that could be heat molded to my 12 toes. I have a knobby and wide sixth toe, narrow heal and bigger calves. With the new Vacuum, instead of grinding, shimming, shaving, drilling, patching and basic remanufacturing, you can get a perfect boot fit on the first visit to the shop. Using a blend of plastics, the Vacuum, including its liner, shell and forward lean, can be all be custom-fit in about 20 minutes.
