Quadrant

$659.00

Description

A high-powered, four-buckle touring boot, the Quadrant defies convention by bringing skiing performance and stiffness previously reserved for freeride boots to the lightweight backcountry purist. This boot was designed with one goal in mind: to maximize efficiency on the up track, so you can shred harder on the descent. That mission was realized thanks to the Quadrant’s incredible 40-degree range of motion in touring mode, combined with its powerful, Flex 120 frame for no-holds-barred skiing performance.

Features

Round 5 – Boot Selection, AT/Sidecountry/Telemark, Pick 4
The Quadrant comes in at 1,715 grams per boot with a 120 flex, stiff enough to convince charging freeriders to enter the touring market. With 40 degrees of travel in walk mode, the Quadrant eats up bootpacks and skintracks while the four-buckle system and stiff flex make for a snug, responsive fit to drive bigger skis. The Quadrant also has a more aggressive forward lean than most AT boots. A big plus this year is that the Quadrant (and seven other B.D. boots) gets a more articulated, warmer and easier to heat mold liner, which had been the primary knock against B.D. boots of the past.
