My Dukes that have gone through three seasons of daily driver use. They’ve been on the hill for the pre-season lane of death, to dirt-covered spring tours, to South America year in and year out. In short, they’ve seen the roughest conditions and still feel bomber. Take the two seconds to knock the ice out of the track and one day to master quick elevation changes with your pole—the two most often cited detractions of the Duke, as well as its weight. But it’s worth it for the most durable and reliable AT system on the market. If you plan to ride the lift and hammer out laps with the same skis you tour with, go with the Dukes.
